Why the retainer stays optional

We would rather build it once and hand you the keys.

CliqHQ builds backend, automation, and outbound infrastructure for coaches, consultants, and operators. The build is priced once, documented as it is made, and transferred to you at the end.

  • 23Backends rebuilt end to end
  • 2-4 wksMap to cutover, typical
  • ZeroReseller relationships held

The thing we are actually against

Most agencies are structurally incentivised to keep you dependent.

The standard model is simple: build something the client cannot maintain, hold the credentials, and the retainer renews itself. Nobody has to be dishonest for that to happen. It is just what the incentives produce.

CliqHQ is set up to make that impossible. The build is priced once. The documentation is included rather than sold. The credentials are yours from day one. If you want us on retainer afterwards, you are choosing it against a real alternative, because you can genuinely run the system without us.

That is a worse business model in the short term and a much better one over five years, because it means the only reason anyone stays is that the work is worth paying for.

Six positions we will be held to

The rules that make the model work.

Each of these costs us something. That is how you can tell they are real rather than marketing.

You own the build

Every account is in your name, on your billing, and our access is removed at the end. An agency that keeps the logins is selling a subscription and calling it a build.

Tool-agnostic, and paid to be

We hold no reseller relationships and take no software commissions. That is a structural choice: the moment a recommendation earns us margin, you can no longer trust the recommendation.

The audit is yours either way

You leave the first call with the map of where your hours and leads are going, whether or not you hire us. We would rather lose a deal than hold useful work hostage.

Fail loud, never silent

Every automation we ship reports its own failures. A workflow that breaks quietly is worse than no workflow, because you have already stopped doing the thing it replaced.

Fewer tools, not more

Most stacks we inherit are paying twice for the same capability. Consolidation usually funds a meaningful share of the build before the build is even finished.

Documented as built

Documentation is written alongside the work, not reconstructed at the end. Reconstructed docs are where the load-bearing details quietly go missing.

Who does the building

Systems-first, because the alternative is hiring your way out of a process problem.

Most of the businesses we work with reached the point where growth outran the systems holding it up. The usual fix is more people: another VA, another coordinator, another person whose job is really to be the integration between two tools. It works for a while and then it does not, because you have made the process more expensive without making it any more reliable.

CliqHQ exists to fix that at the layer it actually lives at. We map where the hours and the leads go, build the infrastructure that removes the manual step rather than staffing it, document all of it, and hand it over. Then you decide whether you want us around.

What an engagement is actually like

How the work runs.

We only take what we can finish

Builds run two to four weeks and need real access to your team during them. Taking on more than that in parallel is how agencies end up managing a queue instead of shipping systems, so we do not.

You are in one meeting a week

A weekly working session, plus async on whatever comes up. The rest of the time is us building. If a process needs you in four calls a week, the process is the problem.

Built alongside, not on top of

New systems run in parallel with the old ones until the new one is provably correct. Nobody gets a cutover date that depends on hope.

No deck, no pitch, no pressure

Come and find out if we are the wrong fit.

Half the calls we take end with us telling someone their problem is not a systems problem yet. You still leave with the map.

  • 30 minutes, one call
  • You keep the audit either way
  • No retainer trap, ever
